Short Link:
At around 10:45 pm on Friday 6 September 2013, masked men opened fire at Emad Mohammed Abu Hajeb, 46, who is a guard for Al Shatee Park, and Saleh Mohammed Sa’ad, 49.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Abu Hajeb and Sa’ad were sitting in the park when a white jeep came.
Five masked, armed men opened fire in the air.
People were frightened and left the park.
The armed men then pointed their weapons at Abu Hajeb and Sa’ad and opened fire at them.
As a result, Abu Hajeb sustained two bullets in the left leg and Sa’ad sustained three bullets in the left leg.
The armed men then left the area and residents gathered and carried the two injured persons to Shifa Hosital.
The police arrived at the scene and opened an investigation.
It’s worth noting that a feud erupted two weeks ago between Abu Hajeb and a man, who is affiliated to one of the Palestinian parties, because Abu Hajeb was sitting in fort of his door in the street until late hours.
