At approximately 11, on 7 September 2007, masked members of the Executive Force (EF) prevented dozens of citizens from reaching the Al Shuhada square of Al Shaboura neighborhood, in Rafah, to perform the Friday prayer, which was called for by Fatah. The EF opened fire in the air to disperse the citizens and attacked them by batons, injuring 15 of them, including four women and elderly.
