5am on 20 October 2007, armed clashes renewed between police members (former Executive Force) and the Hillis family in Al Shaja'ia neighborhood.
Machine-guns and RBJ missiles were used in these clashes, which lasted till the dawn of Sunday, 21 October 2007, under total suspension of electricity on the neighborhood.
15-year-old Muhammad Foua'ad As-Soussi and 25-year-old Muhammad Salama Hillis were killed, and 13 others were injured.
Further, some nearby schools did not function, and the Sobhi Abu Karesh primary school was hit by An RBJ missile as a result of the clashes.
