At app. 9am on Monday 11 January 2010, medical sources at Abu Yousif An-Najar Hospital announced the death of Fadi Mahmoud Khalil Azzam, 20. According to eyewitnesses, Azzam died as he fell down into a tunnel shaft on the Gaza-Egypt border in Al Brazil neighborhood south of Rafah. He was admitted to the hospital.
