At approximately 3:00 pm on Monday 22 September 2014, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats which were off the coast west of Az-Zahra area coast southwest of Gaza district, and then surrounded a fishing boat in which five fishermen were on its board.
Al Mezan identified their names as follows:
Sufian Mohyee Ad-din Kullab, 47,
Mohammed Youssif Abu Ouda, 24,
Mustafa Haidar Abu Ouda, 25,
Ahmed Ziad As-Sharif, 32,
Abdel Raheem Abu Selmeyya, 30.
All of whom are residents of As-Shate’ refugee camp.
Then they were taken to Ashdod (Osdod) port, and released at 8:30 am on the next morning in 23 September 2014 from Erez Crossing.
They are still confiscating the boat.
