Three Persons Injured from Masked Man's fire in Rafah

At approximately 1:00 am on Thursday 18 August 2011, masked, armed man opened fire at three persons who were in a car on their way from the Kherbet Al 'Adas area, north of Rafah, after watching a football match in the An-Nujoom coffeeshop there.
According to Al Mezan's field investigations, the armed man attempted to block the car but the driver did not stop.
  The armed man then opened fire at the car as it passed opposite Rimas Hall on Omar Bin Al Khatab, the main street in Rafah.
  As a result, three persons were injured.
  Al Mezan has identified them as flows: ·         Khalid Mohammed An-Nems, 17, sustained moderate bullet wound in the right leg; ·         Mohammed Al 'Abed Jarbbou', 20, bullet wound in the left leg; and ·         Samer Sabri Abu Karesh, 22, bullet wound in the left leg.
Later it was found that the armed man was from the Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement.
