On 26 June 2007, at app. 00:30, armed men broke into the house of Hani Salem, 34, in the Al Ghifari area of Gaza City, and took him and his brother Majed to an unknown destination. The two brothers are affiliated with the Democratic Front, and work at the General Intelligence apparatus. Mediators intervened and secured their release.
