Police forces dispersed a peaceful protest in the center of Khan Younis city at around 8 November 2008. The Popular Committee to End the Divide organized a protest in cooperation with the National Action Commission in Khan Younis Governorate. According to field investigations, a number of policemen were deployed in the area before the scheduled date of the event. They prevented protesters from gathering in the area and ordered them to leave.
