On Sunday morning, 9 December 2012 at around 9am, a bus operated by Nama’a College for Science and Technology was attacked by masked, armed men in Jabalia in North Gaza district. The College dean, Dr. Moueen Abdallah A. Alborsh, 37, who was onboard, was abducted, taken to unknown location and physically assaulted before being released at around 9:45am of the same morning. The police launched an investigation into the incident but the perpetrators could not be identified.
