11:00, unknown armed men broke into a bookshop owned by the Abu Sultan family in Qizan An Najjar area, in Khan Younis.
The armed men forced some female students out of the bookshop.
They also tied-up two young men from the faculty of Science and Technology and shot them in their legs.
Before the intruders left, they set fire to the bookshop, and threw an explosive device into it.
The injured young men were sent to Nasir Hospital for medical treatment, and have been reported to have sustained moderate injuries.
Those injured were identified as: Monir Mohammed Tannira, 28, and Mohammed Kamal Kolab, 25.
