At 5pm on Sunday, 26 August 2018, Sama Abu Joda, 8-year old of Rafah city, was injured with a live bullet that pierced through her left leg, as stated by doctors at Abo Yousef Al Najar Hospital in the same city. Abu Joda was injured while playing with her friends on the roof of her neighbor, Suzan Aqel. Doctors said her injury was moderate. The police stated the shooting was anonymous.
