At approximately 2:30 pm on Sunday, 3 January 2016, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at palestinian farmers who were in their farms in Bourat Abu Samra north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district. No casualties or injuries were reported.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the IOF opened fire at farmers who were about 300 meters away from the separation fence between Gaza Strip and Israel. As a result, farmers abandoned their work and left the area.
