Ahmed from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was the youngest victim of the war. He was killed while he was in his mother’s womb. An Israeli missile directly hit their house. His mother was injured in the attack and her husband carried her for about 800 meters for help. His mother did not survive her injuries, but Ahmed continued to live although he had sustained shrapnel wounds. Just three minutes after being born Ahmed died. His birth and death certificates were issued on the same day.
