At approximately 8:30 pm on Friday, 7 August 2015, Maher Ali Mohammed Shatat “Al Kafarna” arrived at Beit Hanoun hospital after he sustained a bullet wound in his left thigh. Medical sources there described his injury as moderate and referred him to Kamal Odwan hospital. According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the child was standing in front of his house in Al Kafarna St. west Al Zerae’ya high school north of Beit Hanoun when he was shot.
