Name: Shahed Ra'fat Oda Zo'rob
Date of birth: 16 June 2004
Date of death: 1 August 2014
Ten-year-old Shahed from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a spoilt and jealous child. She liked playing and dancing. She used to wear her mother's clothes and high heels around. “She had no ambition yet,” said her surviving sister.
On 1 August 2014, Israeli warplanes launched a missile at the Zo’rob family’s house, completely destroyed it with Shahed and 19 members of her family inside. Shahed’s sister woke up to find herself under the rubble. She kept moving, and slowly found her way out. Shahed was killed in the attack, along with fifteen members of her family.
