Three-year-old Sarah “was a very happy and playful child. She smiled and laughed all the time,” said her grandmother. During the war, Sarah moved, along with her family, to her relatives' house where they believed it would be safer.
After sunset on 14 July 2014, during the month of Ramadan, Sarah, her father and her uncle were sitting on a swing, when an Israeli warplane directly targeted them. They were all killed instantly.
