Short Link:
Name: Mohamed Yasser Ahmed Abdel Wahab
Date of birth: 25 April 2012
Date of death: 2 August 2014
Two-year-old Mohamed from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was the youngest child of his parents. He was a very spoilt child. He could only say papa and mama. “Before his death, I had the feeling that he would have a strong personality,” his father said.
On 1 August 2014, the Abdel Wahab family decided to evacuate their house due to intense Israeli bombardment. Mohamed’s mother took her children to her father’s house [the Al Shaer family’s house] and his father went to his sister’s house. On Saturday night of 2 August 2014, the Al Shaer family’s house was bombarded with missiles by Israeli warplanes. Nine people were killed, including Mohamed. Many others were wounded.
