Fifteen-year-old Mohamed from the area called Al Seiamat in Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a very active child. He completed elementary school then he left school because he was not enthusiastic about school,” his grandfather, Mahrous, says, who is 66.
The Siam family house was located adjacent to the Abu Sneimah home that was bombarded by Israeli missiles. The Siam family decided to evacuate. As soon as they went out to the street, they were hit by a missile. Ten were killed instantly. Many others were wounded, including Mohamed. Mohamed was sent to a hospital in Turkey to get better medical care, where he died from his injuries.
“It’s so hard losing the family all at once,” added Mahrous.
