Ibrahim from Al Shaburah refugee camp in Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was a responsible boy. He would go to the market for his mother to buy the groceries and things for the house. He loved both playing and watching football and was Brazil fan. His ambition was to be a professional football player, although his mother wished him to be a doctor. When he received gifts, he hoped that were sports gear. “When I see sportswear, I remember Ibrahim,” his father says.
On 2 August 2014, Israeli forces shelled a group of houses in Al Shaburah refugee camp in Rafah. The Eittah family home was destroyed with its inhabitants inside. Many people were killed including Ibrahim. He was 9 years old.
