Suhailah from Khan Younis was very strong. She was dominant over her older sister. She was jealous of her younger sister. She was smart. She had very fair skin. “She liked to play with her toys, and after finishing, she would throw them out the window. We used to call her Susu,” said her father.
On 20 July 2014, just before sunset, the Abu Jamee’s three-story house was bombarded by missiles by Israeli forces. There was no prior warning given. “It was a real massacre; twenty-six people were killed. Three people were injured and survived,” her father added. She was killed at the age of two.
