Fifteen-year-old Nadeen from Khan Younis was a delicate and innocent girl, descried as a ‘genius’. She was an outstanding student in math and would win all the competitions she took part in, according to her mother. She used to sing “Fajer Gazah” in a very sweet voice. Her ambition was to be a math teacher.
On 1 August 2014, the family house was targeted with a missile from an Israeli drone. The family started to evacuate. Nadeen and her siblings were targeted by another missile while they were running away from the house. They were instantly killed.
