Lama from Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip was only eighteen months when she was killed. “She liked going to her grandmother’s house and getting involved with everyone. She liked playing with the children over there,” said her aunt Hanan.
Four families, including the Breikah family, were living in the Al Dali building in Khan Younis when it was attacked by Israeli forces. The building was attacked without warning and was completely destroyed. Thirty-five people were killed, including Lama.
