Seventeen-year-old Eman from Hekr Al Jame’e in Deir Al Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip was a calm, smart, smiley, spontaneous and sensitive child. She loved writing and drawing. She was very close to her mother. Eman was a fantastic student.
On 20 August 2014, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at Ra’fat Al Louh’s house. The house was destroyed and many were killed. Eman was seriously injured. She was taken to the hospital where she died the next day from her injuries. “She left us many happy memories,” said her brother, Wajdy, who is 26.
