Seventeen-year-old Bara'a from Street 20 in Al Nusairat refugee camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip was a very kind, active, and obedient child. He helped his parents all the time. He liked to raise cats and birds. His ambition was to be an engineer.
“Israeli forces conducted a random shelling in our area on 31 July 2014. A shell hit our house and it was full of smoke. I found Bara'a wounded on the ground. He was seriously injured. His body was full of shrapnel. We took him to the hospital but he died hours later from his injuries," said his mother.
