Ahmed from Wadee Al Ajeen, Deir Al Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip loved making paper kites. He was in the fourth grade. His hobby was raising birds.
We evacuated our house, and during the truce, my children returned to our home to bring back their new clothes. An intense and continuous shelling was conducted by Israeli forces. Ahmed was seriously injured. He was taken by Israeli soldiers to a hospital in Israel. He died four days later of his injuries at the age of eleven. His body was returned to Gaza. I could not recognize him, but I identified him by a scar on his leg,” said his father.
