Zeyad Ashraf Al Khalili
Date of birth: 21 March 2012
Date of death: 30 July 2014
Two-year-old Zeyad Ashraf Al Khalili from Gaza City was a quiet but clever little boy. “He was very attached to his mother and used to follow her everywhere,” said his grandmother, while crying.
[It was difficult to get more information about Zeyad as his whole family was killed]
On 30 July 2014, the Al Khalili family evacuated their home due to intense Israeli shelling against civilian houses in the neighborhood. They waited in the yard for a car. Without warning, an Israeli drone targeted them with a missile. Eight people were killed, including Zeyad, his father Ashraf, 37, his mother Nidaa, 28, his sister Deema, 4; his brother Zayed, 3; his uncle Ahmed, 27; his wife Aya, 23; and their daughter Lama, 5.
