Nine-year-old Sarah from Gaza City was an outstanding student and received many appreciation prizes. She memorized three chapters of the Quran. She used to sleep in the stairwell next to her grandfather. She was sociable and a beloved child. She liked to learn at school. She liked to put on some makeup and to dress well. She was a very spoilt child, kissing and hugging her father all the time. She liked to play with her toys. "Her ambition was to be a teacher while I wanted her to be a doctor," said her mother.
At 8:30 on 18 July 2014, when Sarah was in her grandfather's grocery store in the ground floor of her house, an Israeli shell hit Rebhi Bostan's house. Sarah was directly hit by the shell. She was killed instantly.
