Date of death: 20 July 2014
Three-year-old Rahaf from the Remal neighborhood in Gaza City was an innocent, pretty child. She had a strong personality. She started to talk at the age of eight months. She liked toys and educational games. She was very smart and had started to memorize the Quran. Her ambition was to go to kindergarten after the war. She was said to be very funny and to fill the house with happiness. “She asked her mother to buy her a white dress like a bride,” said Rahaf’s father.
Rahaf was very scared during the war. Her family moved to her aunt’s house because they thought it would be safer. During their first night there, the first and second floor of the Al Hallaq building were targeted by three Israeli missiles. Rahaf was immediately killed along with ten other people.
