Eight-year-old Omama from Gaza City was a smart, diligent, and distinct child. She was said to have had a leading and innovative personality. She liked to take very good care of her looks. Her ambition was to be a teacher. "Her hobbies were drawing, coloring and reading, so she used to go to the library to borrow many books to read," said her grandmother.
In the early morning on 20 July 2014, while the whole family was inside house, the house was directly targeted with a missile from an Israeli warplane. No warning was given and the house was completely destroyed. Five members of the family were instantly killed, including Omama, her father, mother and two siblings.
