Three-year-old Mohamed from Gaza City was an active and daring child. He spent most of his time playing and used to share his toys with other children. He used to go out a lot and get lost, so his family spent many hours looking for him. “His family hoped he would be a policeman just like his father,” said his grandfather (61).
On 9 July 2014, Israeli warplane attacked the Malaka family’s house, without warning, while the whole family was inside. The house was completely destroyed. The entire family was killed instantly, including Mohamed, his sister Safaa (13), his father (32), and his mother Hana’a (27).
