Fourteen-year-old Mohamed from Gaza City was an active and energetic child. His hobbies were playing football and riding bicycles. He was an excellent student at school. Mohamed was born after twenty seven years of his parent’s marriage. He was the only child for his parents, so he was very spoilt child. “I used to count on him in helping me all the time”, said his second cousin.
At 11:30 pm on 1 August 2014, Al-Nairab’s family was sleeping when it was targeted by Israeli F16 warplane missiles without prior warning. The two-story building was completely destroyed. Four people were immediately killed including Mohamed, his father, his mother and his brother Mahmoud (11).
