Seventeen-year-old Mo'taz from Gaza City had successfully finished his secondary school. "His ambition was to join university and graduate," said his sister Wesal (13).
On 21 July 2014, Jamal Hamde’iah’s house was targeted by Israeli warplanes without warning. The house was completely destroyed. Three people were instantly killed including Moa’ataz, and his brother A’aed.
