Fifteen-year-old Hussam Ra’fat Na’em from Gaza City was a funny and sociable boy. “He liked to make us laugh. He turned all of our family meetings into funny ones,” says his father. Hussam also liked to play football in the street with his friends. On 31 July, Hussam and his 19-year-old brother, Mohammed, were driving in a car selling drinking water—the only car that was going to a place near their home—on their way home when they were attacked by an Israeli warplane. As a result, Hussam and his brother Mohammed were instantly killed.
