Ahmed Jaber Washah was killed by Israeli forces at the age of 11. He was described by his family as being a calm and happy child. On 28 July 2014, the first day of Eid, Ahmed and his friends were playing in the street when they were attacked by an Israeli warplane. Ten children including Ahmed were killed in the attack.
His mother said, “he was not good at school. He wanted to get a job. His friends had many nicknames for him.”
