Short Link:
Name: Shahd Ali Moein Qeshta
Date of birth: 18 September 2005
Date: 22 July 2014
Shahd from Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip was a very “calm and innocent child. She never complained, except during the war because she was scared. She had long soft hair. She loved to spend time playing iPad games and drawing,” her father said.
On 22 July 2014, Shahd was killed at the age of eight, when an Israeli tank shell hit her house while she was playing her favorite on the iPad. "I wanted to keep her busy playing to distract her so that she would not be afraid from the war,” her father added.
