Six-year-old Ro'iah from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was a calm child. She liked dolls. She liked school, reading and writing. She loved watching TV series and cartoons, her grandmother recalled.
On 19 July 2014, Ro'iah and her family evacuated their house and relocated to their relative’s house thinking it would be safer. That house was targeted by Israeli missiles. Ro'iah and three of her family members were killed in the attack, including: Mahmoud,26; her aunt Dalea, 38; and her sister Nagham, 2. "I still miss them," her grandmother added.
