Sixteen-year-old Osama from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was a calm child. He memorized the Quran. He loved reading. His ambition was to join and graduate from a university,” said his father ,38.
On 17 July 2014, Osama and his family were forcibly displaced because of the intense Israeli bombardment. They relocated to the Abu Hussein UNRWA school shelter. The vicinity of the school was bombarded, so everyone hid inside the classrooms. Israeli warplanes bombarded the classroom. Osama was immediately killed. His brother Ehab, 16, and his mother were seriously injured.
