Seven-year-old Mohamed from Jabalia Al Balad in the north of the Gaza Strip was a loving and naughty child. He used to attend all prayers at the mosque. He was a handsome child with long hair. He liked to play with his sisters. His ambition was to be like his uncle, a math teacher. He liked his grandmother very much and accompanied her everywhere.
On 30 July 2014, when Mohamed was returning home along with his grandmother, an Israeli missile hit very close to them. Mohamed was seriously injured and he could not speak. “His father quickly carried him to the hospital, but he died on the way,” says his mother through tears.
