Seventeen-year-old Mohamed from Beit Lahia in the north of the Gaza Strip was a sociable child and outstanding student. “His ambition was to enter and graduate from university,” said his mother.
He liked football and was an FC Barcelona fan. He was close to his mother and would help her.
Mohamed did not like to go out during the war. On 19 July 2014, his mother asked him to go to his uncle's house. An Israeli missile directly targeted him along with his nephew at 9:00 am, while he was sitting in the yard. His body was found under the sand and rubble.
