Short Link:
Name: Jud Yousif Ibrahim Abu Eidah
Date of birth: 4 March 2014
Date of death: 29 July 2014
Jud from Beer the Al Na’ajah neighborhood in Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip was a very sweet baby. Her siblings loved her very much; they called their dolls and toys Jud.
On the second day of the Eid holiday, on 29 July 2014, the Israeli bombardment intensified against Beer Al Naajah. Her mother received a phone call asking her to go down to the ground floor to find shelter. She started to gather her belongings and wanted to carry Jud, but a shell hit their ceiling. Shrapnel hit Jud and she was immediately killed at the age of four months. Her mother's back was broken, and her brothers were seriously injured.
“Israelis bombarded our house and hurt me in the back and my mother. Jud was killed and was put under the sand. She went to heaven,” Jud’s brother, Omar, said. He was 4 months old.
