Nine-year-old Abed Ali from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was an intelligent student. He liked to laugh all the time. His hobby was playing games on the mobile phone. He was a good football player and an FC Barcelona fan. His ambition was to be a lawyer.
Ali was killed along with his brother, Abed Raboh,16, his sister Mariam,13, his mother, 47,and his step-mother,40,in the UNRWA school massacre, when Israeli warplanes attacked the school, while he was waiting for the bus to take him to a safer place inside the school yard.
