Ten-year-old Ahmed from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was a very calm child. He did not have many friends. He liked playing football. He liked watching cartoons. He played computer games.
On 18 July 2014, Ahmed and his family decided to evacuate their house to avoid the intense shelling from Israeli forces. At 10:30 am, an Israeli shell hit his house without a prior warning. “Ahmed was killed along with his siblings, Wala’,14, and Mohammed,15,” said his mother.
