Thirteen-year-old Ahmed from Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip was never scared of the war and the sounds of explosions. He liked to raise animals. “He wished to leave school to raise and take care of his favorite animals,” said his uncle, Ali, 35.
Israeli forces raided his house and remained there, occupying the house for seven days. The forces arrested all of the men before proceeding to leave. The house was then bombarded without warning while the women and children were inside. All of them were killed and their bodies were recovered days later from beneath the rubble.
