At approximately 10:00 pm on Saturday, 18 April 2015, unknown persons detonated an explosive device in a rubbish container near the UNRWA headquarter in front of As-Sousi tower in Al Sena’a St. west of Gaza City. No injuries or casualties were reported. Police opened an investigation into the incident. The identity of the perpetrators and motivations behind this incident remain unknown
In a separate incident at approximately 10:10 pm on the same day, unknown people detonated an explosive device in a rubbish container near Al Khaldi tower in front of the Islamic University west of Gaza City. No injuries or casualties were reported. The police opened an investigation in the incident. The identity of the perpetrators and motivations behind this incident remain unknown.
