At approximately 2:00 pm on Friday, 5 December 2014, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of Palestinians who were near the borders east of the Islamic cemetery in Jabaliya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Zyad Jawd Abdel Ghani Abu Aisha, 19, and Sharif Al Abed Mohammed Shalash, 25, residents of Jabaliya refugee camp, sustained bullet wounds in their left leg.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital described their injuries as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigation, Abu Aisha and Shalash were with some friends visiting the cemetery; they approached 100 meters to the eastern borders when the IOF opened fire at them.
