At approximately 3:15 pm on Saturday, 19 November 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at a group of children who were near the northern borders, west of Al Ghoul area, near the coast- north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza district.
As a result, Samed Mahmoud Jamil Al Shrafi, 15, resident of Al Shate’ refugee camp, sustained a bullet wound in his abdomen.
Medical sources at Kamal Odwan Hospital described his injury as critical.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, Al Shrafi was about 100 meters away from the northern borders when the IOF opened fire at him.
