At approximately 5:00 pm on Wednesday 17 September 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at number of Palestinian fishermen who were off the coast northwest of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza City.
As a result, Jum’a Ahmed Mohammed Zayed, 69, sustained of bullet wound in his right leg.
Medical sources in Al Shifa hospital described his injury as moderate.
Fishermen left the area and abandoned their work.
