At approximately 7:50 am on Friday 19 September 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at number of Palestinians who were near the borders north of Bouret Abu Samra area north of Beit Lahiya in North Gaza City.
As a result, two persons from Beit Lahiya where injured: A’ta Mousa A’ta Al Hassomi, 20, sustained a bullet wound in his right leg and Ahmed As’ad Ayesh As-Sous, 26, sustained shrapnel in his right leg.
Medical sources in Kamal Odwan hospital described their injuries as moderate.
According to Al Mezan’s field investigations, the wounded where in the place to collect scrap in order to sell it to factories to recycle it.
They were about 300 meter away from the border fence.
