At approximately 1:30 pm on Tuesday 25 February 2014, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) opened fire at Palestinians who were participating in a peaceful demonstration against the daily Israeli violations against Al Aqsa Mosque.
As a result, Younis Ibrahim Ahmed Al Moghrabi, 23, a student in journalist diploma program, sustained a bullet wound in the leg, and Nasser Maher Mohammed Rahma, 24, a journalist in Gaza Youth Media Network sustained a bullet wound in the legs.
They were participating in a demonstration organized by Intifada Youth Coalition to commemorate the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre and against the daily Israeli violations in Al Aqsa mosque near Nahal Oz crossing east Al Sheja’eyya neighborhood east of Gaza.
Israeli forces launched tear gas canisters to disperse the demonstration.
