At approximately 6:30 pm on Friday 21 February 2014, medical sources at Abu Yousif An-Najjar hospital announced the injury of Fadel Mohammed Nafe’ Abu Odwan, 12, after sustaining a bullet that entered the pelvis and exited from the right thigh. He was injured while he was taking care of his sheep near Sofa crossing north of Al Shwka village east of Rafah. Mahmoud Mo’ammar, 21, from t the field controlling forces of the national security forces was also injured.
